About me~
I am a Hungarian-born artist living in New York. I moved to the United States in 2007 at fourteen, when a summer vacation became permanent, and I hold a BFA from the University of Akron. After eight years as a designer, I left full-time design in 2026 to paint and draw full time. My large abstract paintings are built in thick impasto over weeks or months. I start from color combinations that feel charged before I know what they mean, and I rework a canvas, sometimes burying a whole earlier direction under a new layer. My small drawings are meditative, made pen on paper in a single pass with no revision. It is in the tension between these two opposites that I find my artistic voice.
